Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the questions Plano homeowners ask us most, with straight answers. Anything we missed, call us at (555) 555-5555 and ask — we would rather answer questions than surprises.

How soon can you get someone out to look at my wall?

For most repairs, we have someone out within the same week. Small patch jobs can often be quoted from a photo, which saves a trip entirely. Water damage gets priority scheduling, and we can usually have a crew out within a day or two.

Which cities around Plano do you cover?

Our main service area is Plano, Richardson, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Murphy, Wylie, Carrollton, and The Colony. If you are just outside that list, call anyway. We can usually tell you quickly whether we can make the drive.

Will the repaired spot match my paint and texture?

Texture, yes — that is our specialty, and we test the match on a sample board first. Paint is a slightly different story: we finish the repair so it blends with your existing color, but older paint fades, so a fresh coat over the whole wall sometimes looks better. We will tell you honestly which situation you are in.

How do your free estimates work?

Simple: you describe the job, we quote it. Many repairs can be priced from a photo with measurements. Bigger projects, like full rooms or water damage rebuilds, get a free walk-through. Either way you get one clear number before we start, and it does not change afterward.

Can you fix the damage behind my TV mount or shelving?

Yes, and it is one of our most common repairs. Pulling mounts and anchors leaves torn paper and a row of holes that looks worse than it is. We repair the torn areas, fill the holes, and retexture the section so it is ready for paint.

What causes the cracks above my doorways?

Those cracks usually trace back to the framing. As North Texas clay soil shifts and the wood frame moves with the seasons, stress concentrates at door and window corners. We repair the crack and reinforce the area so it holds up better against the next season of movement.

Is drywall dust a big deal? How do you handle it?

Drywall dust gets everywhere if you let it, so we do not let it. Work areas get sealed off with plastic, floors covered, and we clean up with vacuums rather than brooms, which just push dust around. At the end of the job, your room should look like we were never there — except for the fixed wall.

Do you tear out water-damaged drywall and rebuild?

That is a core service for us. We remove the wet board a few inches past the damage, dry the cavity, replace soaked insulation, and rebuild the wall with matching texture. We also photograph everything and provide documentation if you are filing an insurance claim.

Can you help get my walls ready before I sell my home?

Yes — pre-listing touch-ups are smart money. Buyers notice every patched-to-be-patched hole and cracked seam, and small repairs go a long way toward a clean inspection report. Tell us your listing date and we will schedule the work around it.

Do you stand behind your work?

We do. If a repair of ours fails under normal conditions, we come back and make it right at no charge. That is the deal. It is also why we do not cut corners on drying time or screw spacing — the best warranty call is the one that never happens.
